Residential Support Worker – Keys Group
Keys Group is looking for Residential Support Workers to join our team in Yeovil.
The role supports children and young people aged 8‑18 in residential settings who display emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Provide a caring, supportive environment for children and young people.
- Work a 39‑hour week on a rota, including long days and sleep‑ins, working approximately 4‑8 sleep‑ins per month.
- Support children’s emotional, behavioural and social needs.
- Assist with daily routines, activities and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and share observations with the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications and experience are always welcome but are not required to join as a Residential Support Worker.
Driving Licence Required.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check; the enhanced DBS is paid for by Keys Group.
Salary & Working Hours
£13.45 – £14.15 per hour plus a sleep‑in allowance of £62.64 per sleep‑in (working approximately 4‑8 sleep‑ins per month, £3,000‑£6,000 pa). From 1 April 2026.
Working hours: 39 hours per week on a rota including long days and sleep‑ins.
