SHIFT PATTERNS: 39 hours per week - This rota involves working Monday till Friday one week, Friday till Monday the next etc.

About Keys Group Activity & Intervention: This position requires you to reside at our activities centre overnight during your working days to provide consistent support to the children. Accommodation and meals will be provided to you throughout your stay. With Keys Group, you will be working in an activity-based residential home specifically designed to support young people aged 8-18. These young individuals often face social, emotional & mental health challenges. Our Activity and Intervention service offers a 12-week programme for these young people to offer a change of scenery. We offer a break from difficult circumstances, a fresh start and help them to build up their confidence by enforcing positive routines through activities. While your primary role is that of a care worker, a strong focus on adventure and staying active is key to the role - think mountain biking, rock climbing, walking, kayaking and much more. If you love adventure and being outside, you’ll fit right in!

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Age & Driving License: Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
  • Commitment: Ability to work 39 hours per week, adhering to the 4 days on, 8 days off shift pattern, including sleep-ins.
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Support & Care: Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care to help them thrive.
  • Engage in Outdoor Activities: Lead adventurous activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking, fostering confidence and essential life skills.
  • Personal Development: Serve as a role model, supporting personal and social development through structured activities and day-to-day care routines.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work within a supportive team to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children.
