Location: Widnes

Salary: £12.60 per hour PLUS an additional £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep-ins per month, an additional £3,000 – £6,000 P/A)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.
  • Experience and qualifications in children's care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, sport, education or early years experience.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and be a role model.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children, including working shifts and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
  • Act as a positive role model and give encouragement and praise.
  • Enjoy fun days out such as swimming, trampolining, football, dance and revisit missed milestones.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations.
  • Build friendships and trusting relationships.
  • Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks.
  • Empower them to make decisions about themselves.
