The predicted salary is between 30000 - 35000 £ per year.

As a Trainee Manager you will be enrolled onto a 12‑month programme designed for individuals with Children’s Home experience and qualifications who are ambitious to move into a management role.

You will be an integral part of our leadership team, working closely with our knowledgeable Managers across our three EBD Children’s Homes in the Crawley area.

Gain practical leadership experience and receive one‑to‑one support through coaching and mentoring alongside an accredited leadership programme which includes face‑to‑face workshops, training and development covering all areas of responsibility, from recruitment and retention to behaviours and culture.

On completion of the 12‑month course you may move into a Service Manager position or continue as a Deputy Manager in one of our Children’s homes working a shift pattern where you will continue to gain Level5 qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with managers across our EBD Children’s Homes.
  • Participate in the leadership programme and receive coaching and mentoring.
  • Cover all areas of responsibility, from recruitment and retention to behaviours and culture.
  • Use the practical experience gained to progress into a Service Manager or Deputy Manager role after the 12‑month course.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s Home at Senior or Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Committed to learning and development with an ambition to lead.
  • Full UK driving licence.
