As a Trainee Manager, you will be enrolled onto a 12-month programme designed for individuals with Children’s Home experience and qualifications who are ambitious to move into a management role. You will be an integral part of our leadership team, working closely with our knowledgeable Managers across our 3 EBD Children’s Homes in the Crawley area. You will gain practical leadership experience and receive one-to-one support through coaching and mentoring alongside an accredited leadership programme which includes face-to-face workshops, training and development covering all areas of responsibility, from recruitment and retention to behaviours and culture.

On completion of the 12-month course, you will be able to move into a Service Manager position or continue as a Deputy Manager in one of our Children’s homes working a shift pattern where you will continue to gain Level 5 qualification.

Requirements:

  • Passionate and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for our children and young people
  • 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home either as a Senior or at Deputy level
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Committed to learning and development, ambition to lead
  • A full UK driving licence
