A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children's residential and experience within a Children's home environment is essential. We are looking for a Deputy Manager in our home which offers therapeutic support to children and young people. You will become part of an amazing team, supporting young people to reach their full potential and have positive outcomes, giving them hope for the future. This is an exciting new opportunity where you would be supporting young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.
As Deputy Manager, you'll be at the heart of it all – leading by example, setting boundaries, mentoring your team and ensuring every child in our care gets the therapeutic support and structure they need to reach their full potential. Working alongside a Registered Manager, you will also have the additional support of Keys clinical team and ALFA, our innovative hybrid learning solution.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young people.
- Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic.
- A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Experience of budgets and rotas.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children, including working shifts and sleep-ins.
