About Ffordd Newydd

Ffordd Newydd is a residential transitional Mental Health service, supporting 6 people within their own individual studio apartments. We are passionate about enabling people to make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone. We understand the importance of providing person‑centred support which enables independence and meets individual\’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Prompting people we support independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care (depending on the person we support).
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.

• All applicants must be over the age of 18.
