Overview

Salary: £12.60 per hour PLUS additional: £62.64 per sleep-in (approx. 4-8 sleep-ins per month, an additional £3,000 - £6,000 P/A)

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.

We are looking for a children\'s support worker to become part of our family home, caring for younger children who are very active and energetic. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

The role can be physically demanding and you will need lots of energy to keep up, but you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What you need

  • Great communication skills, fun, positive and energetic.
  • Experience and qualifications in children\'s care or transferable skills such as children\'s nursery, sport, education or early years experience.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and be a role model.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
