To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will model professional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment. At Snowhill School we are a small independent school that supports students who may have previously experienced difficulties accessing their education. We are committed to ensuring that all students learn and are engaged in the appropriate programme of study, which allows them to successfully re-engage with education and to achieve their very best outcomes. We offer a very broad and balanced curriculum that enables pupils to undertake examinations and gain qualifications including GCSEs, BTECs and functional skills, and we also have access to a wide range of adventurous subjects which include water sports, mountain biking, archery, horse‑riding, etc.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and plan Maths lessons while overseeing and supporting the curriculum; adhering to Keys Group and Ofsted requirements for national education.
- Providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes.
- Help and support individual pupils as required and encouraging them to research topics themselves.
- Keep a register of pupils' attendance, set assignments and homework, mark pupils' work, record completion, write progress reports and carry out continuous assessment.

Qualifications
- At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
- QTS/QTLS is a requirement.
