Job Summary
Location: Spalding (PE12)
Salary: £15.25 – £15.85 per hour + £3000 – £6000 sleep‑in allowance
Hours: 39 per week
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Minimum 1 year experience within a Residential Children’s home.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
- Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic.
- Strong people manager with a hands‑on approach.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep‑ins.
Responsibilities:
- Part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led by a Service Manager and Deputy Manager.
- Delivery of quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home and day‑to‑day shift management.
- Lead your team and other professionals to deliver therapeutic care and support for each child, focusing on optimal outcomes.
- Serve as a positive role model, meeting everyday living needs and developing trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth and lasting change.
- Mentor staff and coordinate appropriate services to support childcare practices.
