- Job Type: Full-time, 9-5 Monday to Friday for the initial 12 months

Role Overview
As a Trainee Children's Home Manager you will be enrolled onto a 12‑month programme designed for individuals with Children's Home experience and qualifications who are ambitious to move into a management role. You will be an integral part of our leadership team, working closely with our knowledgeable Managers across our LD Children's Homes. You will gain practical leadership experience and receive one‑to‑one support through coaching and mentoring alongside an accredited leadership programme which includes face‑to‑face workshops, training and development covering all areas of responsibility, from recruitment and retention to behaviours and culture. On completion of the 12‑month course, you will be able to move into a Service Manager position or continue as a Deputy Manager in one of our Children's homes working a shift pattern where you will continue to gain Level 5 qualification.

Requirements
- Passionate and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for our children and young people
- 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home either as a Senior or at Deputy level, or experience in supporting people who have learning disabilities
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People or health and social care
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Committed to learning and development, ambition to lead
- A full UK driving licence
