The Opportunity: We are experiencing continued growth within our EPIC team and are seeking a full-time Senior Support Worker to join our amazing, supportive team in Wisbech. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Team: Provide high-quality care and support, guiding and mentoring other support workers.
  • Role Model: Act as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, demonstrating best practices and nurturing a supportive environment.
  • Daily Care: Meet the everyday living needs of the children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  • Build Relationships: Develop trusting relationships that make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children and young people you support.

Requirements:

  • Caring Nature: We seek individuals who are naturally caring, flexible, and resilient.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12 months of experience in the care sector is required.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you will have a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare, which will be recognized in your hourly pay rate.
  • Flexibility: You must be able to work flexibly in caring for the children, including shifts and sleep-ins.
