Package Description

Registered Manager- (Children\’s Home EBD)

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: Up to Β£55,000 (+Β£5,000 Welcome Bonus)

Annual Bonus: 21% of your Annual Salary

(OTE Β£71,550)

We\’re looking for a passionate and committed Registered Manager to lead our vibrant 4-bed EBD home in Leicester. The home is currently at full occupancy and thriving, this is your chance to build on that success and create a space where children and staff truly flourish

For your home and your region, you will have access to a Practitioner Psychologist, Therapist, Sexual Harmful Behaviour Advisor, Exploitation Advisor, Specialist Police Advisor, Therapeutic Practice Trainer and Educational Psychologists. Our clinical teams are there to support our young people, however, most Managers find their emotional support/training/guidance invaluable to their own role, and their team.

Your Role as a Registered Manager:

  • Lead with vision, compassion and integrity, ensuring children receive outstanding care, support and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
  • Be the voice and advocate for both your team and the children, creating a home where safety, respect and aspirations thrive.
  • Empower your team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care that leads to real, lasting outcomes .
  • Build a home culture that is warm, inclusive, and resilient, where young people feel safe, valued and inspired.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, including safeguarding, care planning, compliance, and team development.
  • Mentor and develop staff, cultivating future leaders through coaching, supervision and training (including QCF Level 3 facilitation).
  • Lead service development, budget management and continuous improvement across all areas of home performance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years\’ experience working within a similar environment at a Senior level.
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples workforce.
  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Childrens home regulations.
  • Experience of budgets and financial management.
  • Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • Full driving licence is desirable
  • Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
