Overview

Deliver tailored one-to-one sessions in English, Maths, and life skills. Plan and adapt personalised lessons to suit individual learner needs.

  • At risk of entering the criminal justice system

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one tutoring in English, Maths and life skills.
  • Plan and adapt personalised lessons to suit individual learner needs.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships to support engagement and growth.
  • Deliver sessions in quiet community settings or students' homes.
  • Work flexibly with scheduling that fits your availability.
  • Travel across local areas to deliver sessions.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering the UK curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
  • Understanding of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and mental health needs.
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH learners.
  • First Aid qualification (desirable).
  • Preferred Experience
  • Qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS) or qualified/unqualified teachers, HLTAs, experienced tutors.
  • Professionals with SEN and SEMH experience.
  • Working Pattern
  • Flexible, term-time only.
  • Minimum 2 days per week.
  • Self-employed (paid per timetabled hours).
  • Pay

£15-£35 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
