JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: Beck Row, Mildenhall (IP28)
SALARY: £14.40 - £15.00* per hour
HOURS: 36 per week
SHIFTS: 08:00am - 20:00pm
UK driving license Required
About Wings: Wings supports up to 6 adults with Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities. We work with people to achieve their goals through supporting them to access training, volunteering and employment opportunities. Individuals are supported to engage in their local community and to learn and practice new skills in a supported environment.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
- Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately reporting, recording and maintaining records as required and working to care plans
- Liaising with health professionals and their families
- Completing supervisions and audits
- Ensuring that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, contributing positively to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
