We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead residential care services in a full-time, on-site role based in Loughborough. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the care facility, ensuring that high standards of care and compliance are met in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The Registered Manager will also manage a team of staff, prepare and monitor care plans, liaise with families and external stakeholders, and ensure a safe, supportive, and positively nurturing environment for residents. Additional responsibilities include implementing policies, handling budgets, and driving improvements in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of residential care management and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Strong leadership, team management, and staff development skills
- Proficiency in handling budgets and conducting operational planning
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including liaising with families and external agencies
- Strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations with empathy and professionalism
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent)
- Experience in working within adult residential care services is highly desirable
- Ability to work on-site in Loughborough across 3 services
