We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher to open and lead our brand-new school dedicated for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the school\\\’s vision, goals, and policies.
- Promote clear values and a commitment to excellent education for all pupils.
- Manage and support the senior leadership team.
- Oversee curriculum standards and monitor pupil progress.
- Drive teaching improvements and pupil achievement.
- Ensure safeguarding policies are followed to keep all pupils safe.
- Provide leadership for the curriculum across the school.
- Regularly review school systems to meet and exceed statutory requirements.
- Lead preparations for Ofsted inspections and maintain compliance with independent school standards.
- Manage staff development and school resources effectively.
- Develop and update the School Development Plan to guide ongoing improvement.
- Passionate and committed to supporting students with SEND.
- Minimum of 2 years\\\’ experience working in a SEND setting or similar provision.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
