This job is for a Senior Support Worker in Children's Homes, requiring a minimum of 12 months experience and a level 3 residential childcare qualification.

Location: Bury

Salary: £27,580 - £28,797 per annum plus an additional £3k - £6k pa for sleep-ins (4 - 8 sleep ins per month at £62.64 each)

Hours: Full time long day shifts plus sleep ins.

What do you need?

  • Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.

  • Full UK Driving licence is required.

You will work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care, providing a safe and nurturing environment. Ensure day-to-day management is facilitated professionally and support the Service Manager in delivering quality care. Lead a team along with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support for each individual child. Record events, observations, progress reports, and implement care plans.

You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth, and lasting change.
