Package Description

Deputy Home Manager - Children and Young People

Location: Fleet Marston, Aylesbury

Salary: £33,664 rising to £34,881 per annum plus occasional sleep in payments.

Working a combination of shifts including lates, admin days and some sleep ins as needed.

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children's residential and experience within a Children's home environment is essential.

As a Deputy Manager at our Ofsted rated GOOD home, you will be an integral part of our family team, supporting 3 young people, giving them a voice, enabling them to embrace their uniqueness and experience new opportunities together.

You will be actively encouraged to be creative and have the opportunity to influence change, working closely with a Manager and regional team.

You will be supported to gain level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • A full UK driving licence.
