We are looking for an experienced, resilient children's support worker to become part of an OUTSTANDING, beautiful family home caring for 6 young males who have sometimes emotional and behavioural difficulties.
You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.
- As a therapeutic support worker you will
- Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
- Act as a positive role model, providing encouragement and praise.
- Enjoy fun days out such as swimming, go karting, skating, fishing and revisit missed milestones.
- Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations.
- Build friendships and trusting relationships, believe in them.
- Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks.
- Empower them to make decisions about themselves.
