Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Weymouth provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. We work in partnership with local health professionals such as social workers, community nurses and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Person‑Centred Planning: our staff support each person to create a person‑centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future, and we use communication tools to keep the person closely involved in developing their own plan.
As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well‑being.
- Providing support when needed, including assisting with night‑time care routines.
- Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
- Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
- Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
- Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
- Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.
This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high‑quality care and support.
