We are looking for a resilient and confident person with experience supporting young people who have complex emotional difficulties, Autism and ADHD and present challenging behaviours. You would be a strong and inspirational role model with the ability to set boundaries and build a trusting relationship by using a positive, therapeutic approach. The role can be challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.
What do you need?
- Strong role models, confident and highly resilient with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic
- Experience and qualifications in supporting young people in residential care, challenging behaviours, substance misuse, youth work, criminology or vulnerable people
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations
- Full UK Driving licence is essential
- Ability to work flexibly including long days and sleeps
