Purpose of Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic HCPC Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join us at Somerset Progressive School. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will play a key role in the provision of high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities. Our two sites in Somerset are smaller, giving students more space to build on their educational and personal needs.
As a part of our wider Clinical Team, you will have access to a wide range of professionals to support you within your probationary period from our in-house Clinical Team and Senior Leadership Team within the School.
This role also offers a Welcome Bonus of £4,000; this will be split into two instalments. The first £2,000 instalment for starting employment, and the final £2,000 instalment for passing probation.

Requirements
- A HCPC registration (requirement)
- Have an interest in attachment and developmental trauma
- Post qualification experience of SEN education
- Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessments tools and interventions, appropriate to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
- Passionate champions of students with SEND
- Have a full-UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
