Our Northamptonshire service in Rushden is a 24/7 Specialist Supported Living service for people with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities. There are eight fully self-contained flats for individuals who will be supported in a core and cluster model of support – a core team of day and night support workers alongside individualised support packages of 1:1 support hours. There are six additional flats for individuals on transitional support plans. These individuals enter these flats with the intention of moving away from 24/7 supported living when they feel prepared. They will receive ongoing support for a flexible duration aimed at enhancing their daily living skills, thereby facilitating their journey toward greater independence.
By working closely with individuals and undergoing regular assessments, this journey will remain adaptable, with our approach of accommodating the person’s wishes, needs, and considerations as the focal point of our transitional support.
