The Opportunity: We are experiencing continued growth within our EPIC team and are seeking full-time superheroes to join our amazing, supportive team in Rotherham. As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.
No Experience Needed: Experience within the care sector is not required as we offer full training, coaching, and development. Keys Group provides sector-leading training and coaching to help our staff level up and advance their careers. By learning new key skills and gaining a variety of excellent qualifications, you will open up numerous progression opportunities within the social care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and loving home environment for children and young people
- Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs
- Participate in fun activities and outings such as football, PlayStation, cycling, and baking
- Encourage and share hobbies and interests
- Perform household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
- Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
- Build friendships and trusting relationships
- Empower young people to make decisions about their lives
Requirements:
- The ability to relate well to young people, share interests, provide encouragement, and actively participate in activities
- A full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a keen interest in the lives of young people
- Great communication skills, positivity, and energy
- Flexibility to work shifts and sleep‑ins
