Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

About Boston House: Boston House provides slow stream Neuro Rehabilitation for 17 adults who have complex needs following a brain injury. You will work in conjunction with a Neuro‑Therapy Team assisting the people we support with their ongoing rehabilitation goals.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately reporting, recording and maintaining records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaising with health professionals and their families
  • Completing supervisions and audits
  • Ensuring that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
