- Male Support Worker over age 18 due to genuine occupational requirement.
About Bryn Irfon:
We provide residential support for 8 adults with learning disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties, and also support people with mental health needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves, gain confidence and lead happy lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for the people we support.
- Prompt independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintain and help with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments and administering medication.
- Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
