Job Summary

Senior Support Worker to lead a 3‑bed home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Provide therapeutic support to young people to reach their full potential, ensure their safety, and promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers in delivering care to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to young people in line with child‑centred, therapeutic models.
  • Ensure health and safety, safeguarding and welfare of children under care.
  • Cooperate with external agencies, families and professionals to provide coordinated support.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and appraisal sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months experience or knowledge of child‑centred, therapeutic models.
  • Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • High resilience, passion, hands‑on attitude.
  • Flexible to cover long day shifts, weekends and sleeps.
  • Driving licence required.
