Location: Office Based (Halesowen)
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm

Job Purpose

To provide regional helpdesk support across a diverse property portfolio for all reactive and routine maintenance requests. Ensuring group wide compliance and continuity of service to support young vulnerable people and adults services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily maintenance requests for your region (600–700 per month) via the CAFM (Track Plan).
  • Allocate and progress work to Mobile Maintenance Operatives.
  • Oversee Mobile Maintenance Operatives and approved contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Support other Facilities Officers during peak demand, leave, or sickness.
  • Maintain the approved contractor database and review compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors.
  • Process and administer invoices through in‑house systems.
  • Provide technical support to business queries received via phone and email.
  • Work with Estates Managers and Supervisors on technical queries and small works within the CAFM system.
  • Produce regular reports and support the Facilities Manager when required.
  • Deliver a professional, courteous, and prompt response to all business requests.
  • Undertake additional projects or tasks as designated by the Facilities Manager.

About you

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years facilities management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years helpdesk experience.
  • A strong understanding of reactive property maintenance.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel / CAFM systems.

Desirable:

  • An understanding of statutory environmental requirements.
  • Knowledge of the management of asbestos, fire safety and legionella.

Salary: £27,000 per annum.

Annual Leave: 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
