We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our loving family home, caring for younger children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop. We want to create a safe haven where every child's potential shines bright; you'll be the beacon of hope, providing unwavering support to our young champions.
What do you need?
- People who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
- Passionate about supporting children to lead happy lives.
- Great communication skills, positive, playful and energetic.
- Experience in working with children such as children's care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, education, sports or working with vulnerable people is beneficial.
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
- Full UK Driving licence is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexibly in caring for the children, including working shifts and sleep-ins.
