About Hugglescote:
Hugglescote is a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis. Joining our team at Hugglescote will be fulfilling and rewarding, offering you stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Annual Leave: Enjoy 5.6 weeks of annual leave inclusive of 8 public holidays.
