Salary: £14.45 - £15.15 per hour DOE PLUS approx. £3,000 to £6,000 sleep-in allowance pa. (£62.64 per sleep-in, working approx. 6-8 sleep ins per month)

Shift patterns: Full time working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)
Full UK Driving licence is required.
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for 4 young people who have Aspergers, ASD and mild LD. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop. We have a lot of fun and you need lots of energy to keep up with activities.
As a therapeutic support worker you will:
- Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people

- Provide emotional support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations

What do you need?
- We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and emotionally resilient
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic
- Experience and qualifications in care or transferable skills such as police, education, youth justice or working with vulnerable people
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations
- Full UK Driving licence is essential
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
