  • Purpose of the Role

To plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, teach, and assess a range of subjects and learning to support students’ progression within KS1 and KS2.
  • Work as part of the team to deliver lessons, support positive behaviour, and to make students feel safe so that they can learn and achieve.
  • Follow whole school systems to teaching and learning. We will support you with a full induction, we are a very supportive team.
  • Support with report writing, help to expand our curriculum documents as part of a team, data collection, and clearly communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Create engaging and safe learning environments.

Requirements

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
  • At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
  • QTS/QTLS is a requirement.
