About Thompson Court

Thompson Court has three en-suite bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. Although situated on a busy road in Canton, the service benefits from having a quiet garden area at the rear of the property and also a conservatory where people can socialise. We are situated in a great location and is within walking distance of Cardiff City Centre and all the amenities it has to offer. The Museum at St Fagans and local sports facilities are also nearby, which the people we support visit regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
