Keys are recruiting for an exciting opportunity in Shrewsbury. This home would be ideal for a Deputy Manager looking for their first Registration. You'll be supported by your Regional Manager and a regional clinical team that operates under a trauma-informed model of care. You'll be supported by your own Psychologist and Therapist specific to your home and region.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a therapeutic & trauma informed children's home.
  • Building and developing a high-performing care team.
  • Delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
  • Driving excellence in safeguarding, quality and compliance.
  • Creating a positive, child-centred and inclusive culture.
  • Managing operational performance, budgets and service development.
  • Coaching and developing future leaders within the team.
  • Working closely with central teams such as Clinical and Specialist Advisors.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a supervisory role within Children's Residential.
  • Achieved or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
  • Experience working with trauma within Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Children's home regulations.
  • Experience of budgets and financial management.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
