Keys Inclusion Pathway is seeking qualified teachers to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs, supporting them to re-engage with education and achieve their potential.

Location: Middlesbrough – Community and educational settings

Working pattern: flexible, term-time only. Self-employed with a minimum of 2 days per week (up to 5 days depending on availability)

Role summary: This role involves primarily face-to-face tuition in students’ homes, with some opportunities for remote delivery where appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored, one-to-one lessons aligned to each learner’s needs
  • Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs to build confidence and make progress
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that promote engagement and wellbeing
  • Work closely with safeguarding specialists to always ensure student safety

Qualifications:

  • QTS or QTLS (essential)
  • Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs
  • A compassionate, child-centred and trauma-informed approach
  • Full UK driving licence
