About our Service: A beautiful complex of 3 properties comprising of a converted 4-bedroom barn where 4 ladies live and 2 single occupancy annexes. There is a communal courtyard which is perfect for social gatherings and warm evening BBQs which are a firm favourite with the people we support there. The property is within walking distance of local amenities but situated in a rural location. 24/7 support with a variety of shifts available.
Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in St Austell provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Experience is not necessary – full training and development are provided.
