About Keyrus

Keyrus is a global consulting and technology company focused on making data matter — truly matter — from a human perspective. Founded in 1996, Keyrus operates in 28+ countries across 5 continents, with more than 3,300 people worldwide. Our strength comes from combining deep expertise in Data & Analytics, AI, Digital, and Management Consulting with a strong understanding of business realities. Data is never the goal in itself. We use data to shape understanding, design meaningful experiences, and enable better, real‑life decisions. At Keyrus, we also believe companies have a responsibility beyond performance. Through our Foundation and ESG initiatives, we actively contribute to sustainability, inclusion, and positive societal impact.

The Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated, hunter-style Business Development Specialist to join Keyrus UK and drive new business growth across data analytics, AI, cloud, and digital innovation projects. You will be instrumental in expanding our footprint in the Financial Services & Insurance sector and beyond, focusing on outbound prospecting, new logo acquisition, and pipeline acceleration.

  • Job location: London, UK (Hybrid, 2 days at Canary Wharf)
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Target start date: June 2026
  • Working hours: Full‑time (40h/week)
  • Base Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (gross/year)
  • On‑Target Earnings (OTE): £90,000 – £105,000 (including base salary)

Your Impact

  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying and pursuing high‑value opportunities aligned with Keyrus’ growth strategy across Data, AI, Analytics, and Cloud.
  • Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline through proactive prospecting (cold outreach, networking, events, partnerships).
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, particularly within Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I).
  • Own the full sales cycle — from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate closely with consulting and delivery teams to shape tailored, value‑driven solutions.
  • Leverage partnerships (Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, AWS, Microsoft) to co‑sell and expand market reach.

What Success Looks Like

  • 01st to 03rd Month: Ramp‑up, internal alignment, market understanding, pipeline building.
  • 04th to 06th Month: Active hunting, strong pipeline generation, qualified opportunities.
  • From 07th Month: Deal execution — closing new business and delivering measurable results.

You are expected to quickly ramp up and contribute to revenue growth within your first 6–9 months.

What Makes This Role Challenging

  • Full ownership of a complex, end‑to‑end sales cycle.
  • Selling consulting services and solutions (not products), requiring a strong value‑based approach.
  • Navigating enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Balancing speed, pragmatism, and solution quality.
  • Operating in a highly competitive Data & AI market.

What We’re Looking For

Must‑haves

  • 4+ years of experience in new business development (hunter role) within IT services, data, AI, or cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality: you thrive on cold outreach, lead generation, and closing new logos from scratch.
  • Proven track record of closing new logos from scratch (not just account management).
  • Experience selling services/solutions (consulting) in Data, AI or IT — not purely software or hardware.
  • Solid understanding of Data & AI use cases and their business impact.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up, build pipelines, and deliver results within the first 6–9 months.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C‑level or senior decision‑makers.

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Strong exposure to Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I / FSI) industry.
  • Experience working with data ecosystem partners (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

How Our Salary Ranges Work

At Keyrus, salary ranges reflect different levels of mastery and impact within the same role — not different job titles. Final offers are based on experience, autonomy, scope, and market context, and are discussed transparently during the process.

  • Bottom of the range: You meet the core requirements and will need ramp‑up time and support.
  • Middle of the range: You are fully autonomous from Day 1 and deliver consistently.
  • Top of the range: You are a reference for the role, mentor others, and raise the bar for the team.

  • Gym & fitness discounts via Pluxee (Sodexo)
  • On‑site gym access at our London office
