Keyrock is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to oversee our High-Frequency Trading (HFT) product vertical. This role focuses on discovery, design, and delivery of trading systems where every microsecond counts. You will drive the product strategy for our HFT systems, ensuring sub‐millisecond latency and near‐perfect uptime while balancing performance goals with robust risk management and regulatory compliance.
Keyrock Product Managers develop valuable and viable systems that consider the voices of Business & Commercial teams, Trading & Research teams, and Engineering builders.
Responsibilities / Outcomes
- Lead low‐latency system design and continuous improvement to maintain sub‐millisecond latency for critical trading operations.
- Maintain 99.99% uptime for all critical trading systems and underlying infrastructure.
- Shape product activities with a relentless focus on commercial impact, directly contributing to P&L, market share, and capital efficiency targets.
- Discover, design, and develop ongoing trading enhancements and risk monitoring tools, ensuring a competitive edge.
- Develop, own, and clearly communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment between traders, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Oversee stress‐testing of trading systems and integration into back‐testing frameworks to validate performance and robustness.
- Define and integrate compliance and regulatory requirements into the product roadmap, ensuring all systems operate within legal and internal risk frameworks.
- Manage relationships with data providers and exchanges while scanning the competitive landscape for strategic opportunities.
- Act as the central communication hub between traders, quants, engineers, and business stakeholders to focus on delivering impact and value.
Requirements / Essentials
- Demonstrable experience in low‐latency or high‐frequency trading systems product management or development.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills to understand and discuss complex financial models and trading strategies.
- Deep technical understanding of modern electronic trading systems, from market data ingestion to order execution.
- Solid knowledge of financial trading principles and sophisticated risk‐management practices in a high‐stakes environment.
- Proven track record of translating complex business and quantitative needs into clear, actionable technology requirements for engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- Deep understanding of market microstructure, especially within crypto markets.
- Passion for digital assets and crypto trading.
- Experience with modern agile product management methodologies focused on measuring and optimizing delivery efficiency.
- Background in software development or infrastructure engineering, especially for real‐time or high‐performance systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance landscape for financial markets.
- Previous experience in fintech, particularly with derivatives markets.
