Independent Travel Trainer – Southwark
Closing Date: 30th April 2026 (may close earlier if we receive enough suitable applications). Employment Type: part‑time (12.5 hours per week), temporary contract (April–August 2026). KeyRing has an Independent Travel Trainer role in Southwark. This part‑time position pays at London Living Wage (£14.80 per hour). Required DBS: Applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List Check registered with the DBS Update Service.
What you’ll do:
You’ll work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, taking them out walking or on public transport, and building their confidence and ability to travel independently to and from school. You’ll work with one child at a time, meeting them two or three times a week – in the mornings for the journey to school and after school to get back home. You’ll guide them through a set programme, assess their progress, and encourage them to take more independence as they learn.
Male Community Support Worker – Warrington
Closing Date: 8th May 2026. We currently have a Community Support Worker role available in Warrington. This is a full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £26,227.50 per annum. Eligibility: The role is open to male applicants only due to the needs of the Members you will support. Drivers with their own car required.
What you’ll do:
You’ll work with local people to build their skills, local connections and friendships. You’ll make sure that the people you work with (Members) are doing as much as they can for themselves, looking after themselves and having a life beyond social care support. For David, this meant helping him sort out his money so that he paid his bills and had some spare money to spend on what he’s passionate about. For Carol, it involved setting alarms so that she remembered to take her tablets and feel less anxious when getting out and about. You will meet people in their homes or at local venues and support them to be more independent, build local connections and improve well‑being. You’ll help them imagine what a good life looks like and work with them to make it happen.
