KeyPoint are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a caring and inclusive Church of England primary school, located in the South East of Sunderland. The school places the love of learning at the centre of daily life and is guided by Christian values such as compassion, respect, forgiveness and community. Staff and pupils work together to create a warm, nurturing environment where children can grow academically, socially and spiritually. Outdoor learning and high‑quality play experiences are a key part of school life, helping pupils thrive both inside and beyond the classroom.

The role is offered on a full‑time basis for a fixed term period of one year. Alongside this, you will also receive a permanent zero hour contract with KeyPoint. The fixed term, full‑time position is specifically for placement at the above primary school for a one‑year period, with the possibility of the placement being extended on an annual basis.

About us KeyPoint have been in operation for just over 10 years and offer exceptional relief and long‑term caretaker solutions, as well as cleaning services, to schools across the North East. The perfect candidate will be highly reliable, proactive and solution‑focused with exceptionally high standards of work. Someone who has a real passion for helping others and wishes to make a difference to the school and the school community. We are passionate about the quality of our services and are seeking someone who will share that same passion.

Having an understanding of school life and background experience in a school caretaking role is preferred but is not essential for the right candidate. We offer full training and support to ensure our employees fully understand all aspects of the role and the requirements of working in schools. Please see the full requirements of the post in the Recruitment Pack, or if you would like an informal discussion about the vacancy, please contact Mandy Rimmer on 07877 359060.
