Expected Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00-17:00 | Friday: 08:00-15:30
Salary: Based on experience / Overtime Available
The Role
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on welding systems and products distributed by the Company.
- Perform work at the branch facility and at customer sites as required.
- Diagnose, repair, test and calibrate machines for rent or sale per daily schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on power generation equipment / Electrical equipment.
- Create documents / orders with details of diagnosis, repairs and parts required for each machine.
- Assemble electric, diesel and Automation equipment / accessories for rental and transfer shipments.
- Scan and process shipments per Company procedure.
- Operate a forklift, crane or other necessary material handling equipment to perform shop duties.
- Service equipment / customers off-site as needed.
- Assist with parts and equipment inventories as needed.
- Work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in work area.
- Be organised and have great communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ Years of related technical experience.
Requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to work overtime/weekends.
- Must have a Full UK driving license.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work well with others.
- Good critical thinking skills.
