Full time, permanent position available with an immediate start. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator / Plater to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in producing high-quality metalwork.

The Company:
World Leaders in welding and robot manipulation. Able to provide bespoke solutions to a World Class Customer Base. We design and manufacture high precision mechanical products for use in the production of wind turbines, the nuclear and defence sectors, general engineering, and oil and gas industries. Our machining is working mainly with ferrous but some non-ferrous metals, working to high precision tolerances. Progressive forward thinking and expanding due to growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fabricator / Plater.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Fabrication & Welding) are advantageous.
Essential attributes:
- Honesty and reliability.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- An excellent eye for detail.
- Experience in welding heavy gauge.
- Experience with mild steel.
- Welding experience.
- Experience with medium to heavy metals.
- A right first-time attitude.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
Monday – Thursday 8am - 5pm. Fridays 7:30am - 4pm. Holiday entitlement – 20 days 8 bank holidays (1 birthday holiday). The company has a shutdown over the Christmas period.
