Our client, an international consulting firm, is looking for an HR Manager to lead the People function across its European operations.


This is a standalone, high-impact role, responsible for shaping and delivering the firm's people agenda. Working closely with the Partner group and the Operations Lead, you will ensure talent strategy supports business growth, project delivery, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead talent acquisition and strengthen the employer brand

  • Manage compensation, benefits, and reward frameworks

  • Drive performance management, calibration, and career development processes

  • Design and coordinate learning and development initiatives

  • Oversee HR operations across the employee lifecycle

  • Foster a positive culture through engagement and internal communication initiatives

  • Manage employee relations matters and ensure HR policy compliance

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related topics


Requirements



  • 4-7 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or HR Generalist

  • Strong exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding

  • Ability to operate independently and manage the HR function end-to-end

  • Good knowledge of UK and Italian employment law and HR best practices

  • Experience partnering with founders, partners, or executive teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience


Preferred Background



  • Consulting, professional services, or technology scale-up experience

  • Exposure to both UK and European employment environments, particularly Italy

  • Experience improving HR systems, processes, or people operations

  • Involvement in Great Place to Work® or employee engagement programmes

  • CIPD or other recognised HR qualification
