With a strong, well-established reputation for relevant, inspiring, and innovative provision, we offer large-scale national conferences on key issues of priority for secondary education leaders, portfolios of curriculum and non-curriculum professional development courses, and student revision sessions. This is an exciting time for the company as we are in a period of expansion and are currently looking for experts to deliver courses and sessions to leaders, teachers, and/or students. We are now accepting applications to join our outstanding team of course leaders.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for ambitious, enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in professional development, who are a cut above the rest, and are experts in their own field and key focus areas, be that leadership, teaching & learning, pastoral & behaviour, mental health & wellbeing, student voice, safeguarding, sixth form, or curriculum & subject specialisms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years teaching and/or leadership experience and/or at least 5 years examining experience (for subject/exam-based courses).
  • Gained achievements in your area of expertise.
  • Experience of successfully leading and delivering staff CPD sessions and/or student revision/study skills sessions (preferably whole school or at a trust/regional level).
  • Know and understand what excellence in professional development is.
  • Understand what good delivery of a course looks like.
  • Have the ability to use creative flair and make a course attractive to teachers.
  • Produce course resources to a professional level.
  • Be able to ‘read’ your audience and adapt and be flexible during your course delivery.
  • Possess good IT skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Have a commitment to keep up with the latest themes, directions, and key issues in professional learning.
  • Be proactive with new course ideas, take initiative, and think independently.

Further Details:

The role offers flexibility, allowing you to lead as many or as few courses as you like – from 2 per year to 30+. You can lead courses in any aspect of your key specialist areas. You will liaise with our content team to put together effective, relevant, up-to-date, valuable, and stimulating courses, making them attractive to teachers and leaders. You will create and prepare presentations and course notes of 20-30 pages. Courses are delivered face-to-face in London and occasionally online. Our scheduled teacher courses are delivered in superior venues, including 4* and 5* London hotels. We also offer ‘in-school’, bespoke, tailored courses delivered in schools across the country. You may be interested in participating in our large-scale national conferences and in delivering student revision sessions. If travel is required and any overnight accommodation, this is paid for by Keynote.
