Keymore Construction is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Lorry Driver to join our team. As part of the role, you will operate company HGVs to transport equipment across the North and South of Ireland, working closely with our Transport Department, customers and site teams to ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the company’s HGVs to transport equipment to and from designated locations across the North and South of Ireland.
  • Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all equipment is handled with care.
  • Carry out pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and safely for transportation, adhering to all relevant safety standards and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the Transport Department, customers, colleagues and site teams to coordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Resolve any issues arising during deliveries or collections promptly and professionally.
  • Complete all required transport, delivery and vehicle documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety at all times.
  • Represent Keymore Construction professionally when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid HGV Driver Licence Category CE.
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
  • Previous experience operating HGV vehicles, preferably within construction, plant hire, equipment transport or a similar industry.
  • Good understanding of vehicle safety, load securing and relevant transport regulations.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
