Roofing Site Manager – Single Ply Roofing Chingford, London New-Build School Projects We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofing Site Manager to oversee roofing packages on new-build school projects in the Chingford area. The successful candidate must have a strong background in single ply roofing systems and proven experience managing roofing works from mobilisation through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities As Roofing Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the roofing package on site, including: * Implementing and maintaining RAMS, site procedures and health & safety standards * Managing the roofing programme and coordinating daily site activities * Organising, supervising and managing roofing operatives and subcontractors * Ensuring labour levels are appropriate to meet programme requirements * Ordering, managing and coordinating roofing materials and deliveries * Liaising closely with the main contractor, site management team and other trades * Monitoring workmanship, quality and progress against programme * Identifying and resolving site issues to minimise delays * Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet specification * Managing snagging and remedial works * Driving the roofing package through to successful completion and handover Essential Requirements * Proven experience as a Roofing Site Manager / Roofing Manager / Roofing Supervisor * Strong practical and technical knowledge of single ply roofing systems * Experience managing commercial roofing packages * Ability to manage roofing teams and subcontractors effectively * Strong understanding of RAMS, health & safety and site compliance * Confident liaising with main contractors and project teams * Ability to manage programme, quality, materials and site logistics * Strong organisational and communication skills If interested please apply to James Grindrod for more details
