A fast-growing, service-led construction contractor specialising in high-quality façade and recladding solutions is seeking a Senior Façade Manager to oversee key projects across South and West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, safety-first team that works with top-tier clients and developers on complex, compliance-driven building envelope packages.
Note - This role can either be Freelance or Permanent.
The Role
As Senior Façade Manager, you'll take full ownership of your projects from pre-construction to handover. Leading site teams and managing subcontractors, your focus will be on ensuring safe, timely, and high-standard delivery of works. This role suits someone with strong technical know-how in cladding systems and a proactive approach to leadership and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full façade installation lifecycle across multiple live sites
- Supervise and support site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with current building regulations, fire safety, and QA standards
- Oversee technical drawing reviews, logistics planning, and RAMS documentation
- Monitor programme and cost performance, reporting progress to Contracts Manager
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently to keep projects on track
- Represent the business in client meetings with professionalism and confidence
- Mentor junior staff including supervisors and operatives
Requirements
- 5–7+ years’ experience in façade/cladding project management
- Strong understanding of rainscreen cladding, fire remediation, and access systems
- Proven success delivering projects ranging from £500k to £5m
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Up-to-date knowledge of CDM 2015, H&S regulations, and façade compliance
- Valid CSCS (Black or Gold), SMSTS, and First Aid certification
- UK driving licence with willingness to travel across project sites
Desirable
- Experience with Procore or other digital project platforms
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent
- Scaffold knowledge including TG20:21, SG4:22
- Previous experience in recladding or fire remediation works
