Pat Tester

Join a well-established Mechanical, Electrical and Renewables contractor with over 10 years trading, and two offices covering across the Midlands and South.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical PAT Tester to join our team and carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) in a range of hotel settings.

Duties:

1. Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical appliances and equipment in hotel environments to ensure they comply with current health and safety regulations.
2. Inspect and identify faults in electrical appliances and make recommendations for repairs or replacements.
3. Record and document test results accurately, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
4. Ensure all electrical equipment is safely disconnected and reconnected after testing.
5. Provide clear reports on the condition of electrical appliances and equipment, highlighting any issues that need attention.
6. Communicate with hotel management regarding testing schedules and requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
7. Adhere to all company and client safety policies and procedures at all times.
8. Assist in maintaining stock of PAT testing equipment and tools.
9. Maintain professional conduct and appearance when interacting with hotel staff and guests.
10. Work efficiently and effectively, ensuring all testing is completed within agreed timelines.

Salary: £22,000 – £30,000
Location: London and M25
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays as a base rate
