Operations Manager β Location: Southampton
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, purchasing, and process improvement for a growing technology distributor. This is a hands-on role where you\βll lead a small team, ensure orders are fulfilled with accuracy and efficiency, and drive continuous improvements across operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping).
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, ensuring KPIs are met.
- Oversee purchasing for resale products and business consumables.
- Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain ISO standards.
- Support finance with invoice uploads and payment releases when required.
- Monitor stock accuracy and drive error rates below 2%.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and warehouse teams to streamline order fulfilment.
What We\βre Looking For
- Proven experience as an Operations, Warehouse, or Logistics Manager.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of purchasing and supplier management.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Competence in planning, KPIs, and process improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central and/or HubSpot CRM is desirable.
